The continuing adventures of Willy!
The snow finally melted away after a few days of rain, so we went for a New Years' Day walk through Meadowdale park.
Please be patient while the pictures load...

Willy and I pause on the bridge over Lund's creek.

The park ranger lives down here. During the recent snow, they were cut off for 8 days.

We can usually walk through here, but the culvert filled with gravel and caused the creek to overflow through the pedestrian tunnel under the railroad tracks.

The path normally crosses the creek here.

The underpass is used to access the beach area; not happening without wading the creek today!

Meadowdale park is a mile and a half walk from where we park to the beach. This part of the trail was washed out and rebuilt this summer.
