Christmas at home 2005

Please be patient while the pictures load...

This christmas Sherry and I had my sisters and their offspring over for dinner. About half the relatives came over Christmas eve, and the other half came to visit the day after Christmas.

Down to home decor

Down to the day after Christmas with Kathleen and her family.

Everyone settling down to eat. This was a tight fit; we set up extra tables and sat 13 people in the dining room.

Alexis smiles for the camera.

Peggy grew bunny ears!

Alexis rolls on the floor laughing.

Starting to open presents!

Sherry eating her pie among the wrappings.

Alexis and Jim. Alexis even makes me look good.

The picture definitely looked better with Alexis.

Peggy lights up the room with her smile.

Santa lost his hat!

I thought the little elves were supposed to help, but I guess not.

Bill helps out while Peggy has fun.

Sheila had to leave early for work, but nobody leaves empty handed.

Santa found a wind chime.

The hand is too small to hide behind. Why is it that some people always try?

Bill, Sherry, and Barbara relax in the cleared dining area.

Sherry did a really good job decorating the house. I'm happy with some gaudy lights out front, but Sherry spent a great deal of time carefully arranging decorations around the house.

Christmas day I hung the new wind chime out on the deck.

Close up of the sun and moon chime.

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care... Wait! This is the stairway! Someone's confused.

The christmas tree.

Nativity over the mantle, Santa on the coffee table.

Dining room restored to normal Christmas array.

More Christmas decor.
